The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is opening up space for advertising on the bottom of shoe bins at American airports and PETA is all over it.

"The ad features the photograph of a 'missing' calf named Charlie, who was pulled away from his mother. Charlie was most likely branded without any pain relief, and eventually slaughtered for his meat. His skin was made into someone's shoes, belt, or jacket—the very same items that get tossed into the bins at security checkpoints."

I think this ad campaign will be very effective if PETA can get it going. This will really help people connect the fact that their shoes or belt used to be someone just like Charlie.

Leather is not a fashion statement, it's someone else skin.
