Agweb.com reports that donations made toward animal rights groups are on the rise as animal abusing factory farmers quake in their boots. It seems that charitable donations to animal rights groups rose 11% in 2007 with part of the increased going toward what they called "extremist groups like PETA." If PETA is considered an extremist group I would love to hear what they think of the ALF.
This is great news for the movement and really bad news for its opponents. What I found really interesting was that the HUSA raised $130 million in 2007! I didn't realize they raised that much money, way to go!

A full page ad ran in the New York Times this Thursday that demonstrates the Humane Society's ties to 'terrorist' groups. The ad was sponsored by the Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) that represents the fast food and dairy industries and has spoke out against the Mothers AgainstDrunk Driving (because CCF represents the alcohol industry too).
